Bounce House Operating Instruction While in Use
Each inflatable game operator should read and understand the following instructions:
|
|
- If the inflatable is deflated accidentally (i.e. power outage), have all children exit orderly through the door, or emergency roof/ceiling release, or alternate exit. Do not panic, you will have time to get everyone out safely!
- Divide children by ages and give each group their own time to bounce, jump or slide. Never let children under 3 years old to jump with other children at the same time.
- Operator should check frequently to make sure all buckles on the fans and tie-downs are attached properly and in good condition while operating.
- Maximum number of riders of each group that should play in the bouncer at one time is:
- For 13 X 13 bouncers:
- maximum weight of 500 lbs.
- 4 to 6 medium children
- 6 - 8 small children

- For 15 X 15 bouncers:
- maximum weight of 1000 lbs.
- 6 to 8 medium children
- 8 to 10 small children

- Be sure children are not holding the netting or leaning on the side walls. The netted windows can be a problem if children are permitted to hold on the netting while jumping.
- Flips, pilling on, wrestling, bouncing against side, bouncing on steps, bouncing on slide, grabbing net, climb on walls or bouncing too close to each other is prohibited.
- All riders must remove their shoes, eyeglasses and any other hard or sharp objects in their hair and clothing. No food, drink, gum, toys, pet or silly strings and no hanging on the inflatable.
- The operator should let the riders be aware of the posted warning sign on the side of the inflatable.
- All extension cords and straps should be placed in such manner that noone can trip on them. Also, no electrical cords should run through puddles or near a pool.
- The inflatable should not be operated if wind exceeds 25 m.p.h., or in rain, snow or lightning conditions.
- Minimum number of operators on an Inflatable Bouncer is one (1). Operators' supervision is required at all times while the inflatable is in use.
